Hotel Chocolat Chocolate Chip Biscuits
It was dad's birthday on Friday, and he got loads of nice chocolate. I used some to make these chocolate chip biscuits, which I thought I would share the recipe for!
Ingredients
- 100g/4oz chocolate
- 100g/4oz sugar
- 100g/4oz butter
- 2tbs golden syrup
- 225g/8oz flour
- 1tsp vanilla extract
- Pre-heat oven to gas mark 6
- Line two baking trays with grease-proof paper
- Break chocolate down into small chunks
- Cream together butter and sugar, add syrup
- Stir in flour
- Fold in chocolate pieces
- Roll into small rounded balls
- Place evenly apart on the baking trays
- Cook for ten minutes
- Flatten the cookie dough and swap trays over
- Bake for further 15 mins or until golden
- Cool on a wire rack
- Serve with an iced coffee for ultimate lockdown goodness
